u know how there used to be like one merlion in sg? back when it was at it's old home... opp fullerton? then they moved it over to fullerton there? it was nice where it was... and now i wld say it's even nicer where it is now cos i suppose more easily accessible and stuff not just hidden at one corner... pple can actually get up close and personal with the merlion.
 
then they went and build the giant sized one at sentosa.. that was fine... i mean tourist attraction and all.. it's alright lah. giant one, with like stuff on the inside.. it's quite tasteful. and u know the on at sentosa, at nights, the lights changes colour. so yah that's nice..
 
but they are really pushing it when they made that STUPID 'mini me' of a merlion. i mean like as if one isn't enough... the kiasu-ism has to come into play and now we have 3. (i think.. they might be building more.. since it's such a 'novelty') altho i really hardly think it's a novelty now. it's like the attack of the merlions.. OVERLOAD pple!! hello!?! it's like too many liao.... not even tasteful.. stupid kiasu singaporeans...
 
sometimes we are just not contend nor satisfied with what we have. always wanting more... being greedy... but in the end we lose more than we gain. so after all that kinda trouble, being greedy is really pointless.
